Suddenly, nothing is certain for the other person anymore. Everything becomes negotiable, and partners turn into liars, love into manipulation. Yet one cannot escape one's responsibilities. It always finds you. The film depicts that moment in which someone leaves without knowing why, putting everything at stake. Inspired by Jean Cocteau's La Voix Humaine, the story is told consistently from a single perspective: we see only him, we hear only him.
